The Effect Of Application Of The ODOA ( One Day One Verse) Method On The Ability To Memorize The Al-Qruan Of Class IV Students In Memorizing Surah Al- Bayyinah At Muhammdiyah 03 Unggunlan Pekanbaru Primary School

Abstract

The lack of interest of students in memorizing the Qur'an is caused by several factors, namely the lack of precise use of methods in memorizing, lack of knowledge of recitation science, limited time available, these things cause the low interest and ability of class IV students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School. 3 Pekanbaru leaders in memorizing the Koran. The low interest and ability of students in memorizing is indicated by the number of students whose memorization is still faltering, namely out of 20 students in class IV, only 4 students memorize the maximum category starting from fluency to the rules of recitation, 10 students are in the faltering category and 6 students are only Just memorize a few short surahs. This is also confirmed by the pre-test results that the researchers obtained, namely the average pre-test score of 17.5. This research was carried out with the aim of determining the increase in students' interest and ability in memorizing the Al-Qur'an through the application of the One Day One Verse (ODOA) method. This research method uses a quasi-experimental research method carried out on humans in the field of education through the ODOA method with a quantitative type of research. The data collection techniques are through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained were through post-test results with a total score of 608 and an average score of 30.4. Then a comparison of the calculation and table is carried out with the calculation result having to be greater than the table. The calculation result obtained is 11.40 with a table of 2.093, meaning the calculation is > (more than) the tableThus, through the application of the ODOA method, students' interest and ability in memorizing the Al-Qur'an can be increased.
